1. Booking Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website lamerope.it and regulate the relationship between the user making a reservation (hereinafter, the “Customer“) and the accommodation La Merope, managed by F&J S.R.L., with legal headquarters at Stradone Scipione Maffei n. 14, 37121 Verona (VR), VAT and Tax Code 05040160235.

The website serves as a presentation and mediation platform for reservations for the indicated accommodation.

The online booking system is managed through the external Kross Booking platform or integrated systems connected to it.

By making a reservation through the site, the Customer declares to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Type of Accommodation

The accommodation La Merope operates according to the applicable regulations for the following accommodation type:

Tourist Rental and Guest House

The management and services offered comply with the national and regional regulations applicable to the specific category.

3. Booking Methods

Through the online booking system available on the site, the Customer can check availability, prices, and conditions of the rooms or accommodations in real-time.

The reservation is considered confirmed only after:

the completion of the booking procedure;
any required payment;
the receipt of the booking confirmation email.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered during the booking procedure.

4. Rates and Payment Methods

The rates published on the site are expressed in Euros and may vary based on the season, availability, and the type of offer selected.

Depending on the chosen rate, payment may be made through one or more of the following methods:

Credit or debit card online;
Bank transfer;
Payment at the accommodation;
Payment of a deposit.

Attention: the payment methods and any specific conditions depend on the selected rate and the time of booking.

The Customer is therefore invited to carefully check the payment conditions indicated during the booking procedure.

5. Tourist Tax

If required by the Municipality where the accommodation is located, the tourist tax must be paid directly at the accommodation according to the methods provided by local regulations.

6. Cancellation Policies

Cancellation policies may vary based on the rate selected at the time of booking.

The main types may include:

Refundable rates;
Partially refundable rates;
Non-refundable rates.

The specific cancellation, modification, or refund conditions are always indicated at the time of booking and in the confirmation received via email.

In case of no-show, the accommodation may retain the amount provided by the conditions of the booked rate.7. Check-in and Check-out

Unless otherwise indicated by the accommodation, the standard times are:

from 14:00;
by 10:00.

At check-in, the Customer must present a valid identity document for each guest, as required by Italian regulations for communication to public security authorities.

8. Number of Guests

The number of people staying in the accommodation cannot exceed that indicated in the reservation.

Any additional guests must be authorized in advance by the accommodation.

9. Security Deposit

In some accommodations, a security deposit may be required to guarantee any damages to the accommodation.

When required, the amount and payment methods for the security deposit will be indicated during the booking or communicated before check-in.

The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay after checking the condition of the accommodation.

10. House Rules

The Customer agrees to use the accommodation and common areas with the utmost care and in compliance with the rules of good coexistence.

It is prohibited to:

Disturb other guests or residents;

Use the accommodation for illegal activities;
Damage furnishings, equipment, or common areas.

The accommodation welcomes children from 2 years of age. Cribs are not available.

11. Pets

Pets are not allowed inside the accommodation.

Any requests in this regard cannot be accommodated.

12. No Smoking

Unless otherwise indicated, smoking is prohibited inside the accommodations and in the internal areas of the accommodation.

13. Waste Separation

Guests are invited to respect local regulations regarding waste separation, following the instructions provided by the accommodation or the Municipality.

14. Limitation of Liability

The accommodation is not responsible for:

Theft or loss of personal belongings;

Temporary interruptions of services such as water, electricity, gas, or internet not attributable to the accommodation;
Force majeure events that prevent or limit the stay.

The processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the applicable regulations on personal data protection (EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR).

The data provided by the Customer will be used exclusively for the management of the reservation and for the obligations provided by the applicable regulations.

16. Competent Court

The User authorizes the Company to process and communicate their personal data to third parties solely for purposes related to the management of the services offered and the obligations provided by the applicable regulations on personal data protection (Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments).

For any disputes related to the use of the site or the services offered, the Court of the city where the Company has its legal headquarters will have exclusive jurisdiction.
